Continuity.
Real-world value.
What comes next.

I’ve been building a way to keep long-running AI work grounded when conversations multiply, instructions drift, evidence changes, and memory alone is not enough.

The honest origin

A convincing AI answer is not the same thing as a verified operating reality.

The failure became the design problem.

Earlier work with Alexa and iNet Atlanta produced ambitious ideas—and some compelling but unreliable factual narratives. Rather than hide that failure, I began engineering around it.

The central question became: how can important work remain traceable, current, and reconstructable across changing conversations, tools, devices, and AI systems without pretending they share perfect memory?

Governed Continuity is the architecture growing from that question. It treats continuity as a relationship among state, evidence, provenance, contradiction, and human authority—not as a bigger pile of remembered text.

The problem in plain English

AI can sound current while working from yesterday’s reality.

Context drift occurs when active instructions, assumptions, or retrieved state stop matching the world in which the system is operating. History may still exist. The wrong version can still be active.

That gap is not merely a memory problem. It is a governance problem.

Current realityA policy changes. New evidence appears. A decision is authorized.
Stale active contextThe AI workflow continues using the earlier rule while sounding completely coherent.
Governed responsePreserve both states, record provenance and authority, expose the contradiction, and verify what reaches the live system.

The system

Four connected disciplines, one governed thread.

GOVERNED
CONTINUITY

Select a concept to see what it does and what supports it.

Exercised method

CCR — Cognitive Circular Reintegration

Bring relevant prior state back into current work deliberately instead of hoping a new conversation remembers it correctly.

Why it matters: A successor can reconstruct the work from governed evidence rather than invent continuity.

Concrete evidence: Structured continuity capsules and cross-conversation handoffs have been exercised.

Evidence before confidence

What exists—and what does not.

Verified live

Mission Control

A protected operational surface with persistent navigation, protected routes, authenticated dashboard loading, recorded passing tests, and production-build evidence.

Verified bounded milestone

Heartbeat-executed engineering lane

A bounded engineering packet was inspected, executed, returned with evidence, and reconciled without David manually carrying it. This does not prove autonomous retained-chat wake.

Independently reproduced

Continuity Test Harness

Provenance validation, tamper detection, restart and recovery, contradiction protection, quarantine behavior, and fixed-fixture recovery testing.

Exercised

Structured handoffs

Repository-backed packets, reports, reconstruction seeds, and explicit lifecycle states preserve work across sessions.

Active integration

Worker First

Stable worker identities, lanes, evidence pointers, archive and restore, and governed import/export. Not yet production-verified.

Source

The rule, design, or artifact exists.

Deployment

It reached a running surface.

Observation

Its live behavior was actually seen.

Verified

Evidence supports the claimed result.

Media and deep dives

The story is now organized around governed sources.

The work is being translated into explanations that can be watched, heard, questioned, and checked—without turning internal mechanics or unfinished ideas into public claims.

Source complete

Why AI Context Drifts

The short explainer now begins where it should: the gap between changing reality and stale active state, then moves through provenance, contradiction handling, maturity states, and reconstruction.

Editorially reviewed

The Night the Thread Tightened

A public-safe deep-dive source explains stable worker identity, voice provenance, human fallibility, delivery-versus-awareness, and one bounded network-handoff observation.

Awaiting source review

Investor & Supporter Deck

A credibility-first deck has been reported, with demonstrated work separated from proposed infrastructure. Its final visual review still requires the actual presentation files.

Planned media slot

Mission Control & Test Harness

Future walkthroughs can show the operational surface and repeatable testing evidence. No unavailable media is presented here as live.

Why I’m showing you

You have seen me build before.

You knew me as Manager of Web Presence during the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau years. You have encouraged my creative work long after that chapter and, at times, helped me keep moving.

I wanted you to see the honest arc: not an overnight-startup story, but an embarrassing failure mode turned into a disciplined architecture with working mechanisms, visible limits, and a path toward something other people could use.

The next phase

Ways to help the work become usable.

Support is broader than money. The right conversation, skeptical review, introduction, real-world pilot, or technical resource can each move the project forward.

No patent or provisional filing is currently established. Worker First is not production-verified. Full autonomous cross-chat wake and cross-provider live synchronization are not established. Experimental results are not general AI-performance guarantees. Funding paths are plans, not promises. This is not a securities offering.
